É o início das descobertas astronómicas que confirmarão a teoria de Copérnico (a Terra move-se à volta do Sol), contradizendo as ideias defendidas pela Igreja &lt;/span&gt;Católica&lt;span id="ctl00_cphMain_lblDescricao"&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A personalidade e os feitos de Galileu, que Albert Einstein designou "o pai da ciência moderna", são descritos em pormenor, revelando  inteligência, bondade e rectidão.  À medida que o seu olhar penetrava nos mistérios do Universo, conquistou prestígio nacional e internacional. Em 1633, com quase 70 anos, a Inquisição condenou Galileu ao isolamento em sua casa. Faz sentido instalar um painel solar térmico? &lt;/b&gt; &lt;p&gt;Portugal, independentemente da região, é um dos países da Europa com melhor recurso solar, sendo sempre vantajosa a instalação de energia solar térmica. Nas zonas do Alentejo e Algarve a radiação solar atinge níveis ainda mais elevados.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Qual a diferença entre o sistema termossifão e o sistema de circulação forçada? &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt; &lt;/b&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;O sistema termossifão é composto por um depósito por cima do painel, o investimento é mais baixo e a instalação mais simples. Funciona de forma autónoma, sem recurso a bomba auxiliar. O sistema de circulação forçada tem um rendimento superior e prevê um depósito no interior do edifício. Para quem se preocupa com a estética do painel e do edifício, é uma boa solução, dado que possibilita uma melhor integração arquitectónica. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;b&gt; &lt;p&gt;Ainda preciso de gás ou electricidade depois de adquirir um painel solar térmico? &lt;/p&gt;&lt;/b&gt; &lt;p&gt;Sim, mas só como apoio ao sistema solar. O sistema será instalado dando prioridade ao Sol garantindo que toda a energia gratuita é aproveitada permitindo assim que a redução possa atingir os 80% (considerando um ano de utilização) e que durante os meses de Verão a energia de apoio (gás ou electricidade) não seja sequer consumida. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;b&gt; &lt;p&gt;Durante o Inverno, se a temperatura da água quente do painel não for suficiente, posso usar o meu esquentador actual para garantir o resto do aquecimento? &lt;/p&gt;&lt;/b&gt; &lt;p&gt;Sim, o sistema será instalado prevendo essa situação, e o esquentador entrará em funcionamento automaticamente gastando apenas o gás necessário em cima da água pré-aquecida, para atingir a temperatura pretendida. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;b&gt; &lt;p&gt;Em dias com pouco Sol ou no Inverno os painéis solares térmicos funcionam? &lt;/p&gt;&lt;/b&gt; &lt;p&gt;Sim. Em média, a energia solar disponível no Inverno fornece cerca de 60% das necessidades. Quando não há Sol suficiente, o sistema de apoio entra em funcionamento. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;b&gt; &lt;p&gt;Qual o tempo de vida dos painéis solares térmicos? &lt;/p&gt;&lt;/b&gt; &lt;p&gt;Os sistemas solares térmicos são feitos para durar cerca de 20 anos, com poupança de energia e cuidando do ambiente. Estes dois astronautas caminharam cerca de duas horas na Lua e deixaram uma placa, onde se lê: "Aqui os homens do planeta Terra pisaram pela primeira vez na Lua. Julho de 1969. Viemos em paz, em nome de toda a humanidade". Também ficaram famosas as frases: "Houston, aqui Base da Tranquilidade. A Águia pousou” e "É um pequeno passo para um homem, mas um salto gigantesco para a humanidade".&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Michael Collins ficou no Módulo de Comando Columbia, numa órbita a 100 km da  Lua,  esperando pelo Eagle. oferece um raro vislumbre de uma &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;catástrofe cósmica&lt;/span&gt; em fase terminal. Esta colisão colossal de galáxias está localizada a apenas 400 milhões de anos-luz de distância da Terra, na constelação &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Serpentário &lt;/span&gt;(&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Ophiuchus&lt;/span&gt;). Sendo uma das fontes de &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;infravermelho &lt;/span&gt;mais brilhantes do céu, a fusão de galáxias provoca a formação de caudas distorcidas, de emissões de gases e poeiras, que provocam a formação de novas estrelas.&lt;br /&gt;Os dois &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;buracos negros&lt;/span&gt; supermassivos, existentes no núcleo das galáxias, também colidem, formando um buraco negro ainda mais massivo. Mas nesta imagem deslumbrante, o &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Telescópio Espacial Spitzer&lt;/span&gt; com as suas câmaras infravermelhas penetrou pela poeira até às estrelas do centro galáctico. Esta imagem em cores falsas, um mosaico feito de muitos pequenos instantâneos, mostra mais estrelas velhas em tons azulados. As nuvens de poeira avermelhadas estão associados a berçários estelares, com estrelas jovens e quentes. Apenas recentemente se verificou que, no centro da Via Láctea, havia capacidade para formar estrelas recém-nascidas. O centro galáctico está a 26.000 anos-luz de distância, na direcção da constelação Sagitário.
